How It Works
The Knockout Stage challenge is a brand-new, separate bracket from the full Classic and Fanatic challenges. There is no group-stage prediction here. The 32 teams that actually advanced are seeded into the Round of 32 for you.
From there, it is a clean knockout bracket: pick every match through the final. Pick in Classic mode for fast winner selection, or Fanatic mode to add a score prediction to every knockout match.

The Knockout Stage challenge is a separate, second-chance bracket. Instead of predicting the group stage, your Round of 32 is seeded from the real World Cup results, and you predict the entire knockout tree from the Round of 32 to the final.
The full Classic and Fanatic brackets start at the group stage. The Knockout Stage challenge skips groups entirely. It begins from the actual Round of 32, so you can jump in even if you missed the group-stage deadline.
Classic knockout is click-to-pick: choose a winner in every knockout match plus a final score tiebreaker. Fanatic knockout adds a score prediction to every knockout match, with the final score acting as the tiebreaker.
Knockout picks lock at the start of the Round of 16, so you can still enter or edit during the Round of 32. After that, brackets are read-only. One thing to keep in mind: if you build your bracket after a Round of 32 match has already kicked off, that match will not earn points, because its result is already decided. Any match that has not started yet still counts in full.
