Atlanta's Fan Zone: Where to Watch the Matches
Atlanta is hosting 8 matches โ including a quarterfinal โ and the city is ready. Mercedes-Benz Stadium seats 71,000 and will be packed for every game. But what about the other 50,000 fans pouring into the city without tickets?
The Battery Atlanta
The entertainment district wrapped around Truist Park (home of the Braves) is transforming into a massive fan zone for the duration of the tournament. Expect big screens, local food vendors, and a crowd that shows up hours before kickoff.
Centennial Olympic Park
Atlantaโs World Cup legacy starts here โ this is where the 1996 Olympic soccer matches were held. The city is planning outdoor viewing events in the park, with the Atlanta skyline as a backdrop.
Westside Provisions District
A bit quieter than the Battery but with better bars. Mac McGee Irish Pub and The Painted Pin are already planning extended hours and outdoor viewing setups.
Getting There
MARTAโs Red and Gold lines both stop near Mercedes-Benz Stadium (State Farm Arena / GWCC/CNN Center stations). Donโt drive. Just donโt.
